When I got married, I wanted a dress that didn’t look like every other girl getting married in the temple. I thought that just because I needed a modest gown, shouldn’t mean that I have to sacrifice my style and individuality. I knew that what I wanted, did not exist, and so I had to pursue it another way. What I ended up with was a custom made designer gown, and it had to have alterations to make it temple ready. My gown was a dream come true, everything I wanted and more . . . . but it was expensive, and my 6 month engagement was just barely enough time to have it completed. I was also a little scary because I didn’t know what it would look like until it was done - one week before my wedding at my final (and only) fitting.
So, due to this experience, which was the same for both of my sisters, my Mom and I decided that it was time to do something about it. We created Alleanza Bridal, a company that caters to the bride who wants a modest gown with style. The dresses are designed by my Mom and I, and are created to be temple ready from the very beginning - no adding on, or piecing in required. They are made individually in the garment district of New York City out of absolutely beautiful fabrics.
We are so excited to be able to give brides that are looking for something distinctive, chic, and modest more choices. We hope you will enjoy our first collection.
